Our Beginning

Cornerstone North Raleigh Christian Church (CNR), originally known as Cornerstone Raleigh, was established in January, 2011 as an evangelistic outreach ministry of Cornerstone Christian Community Church of Oxford, NC. The ministry was established under the leadership of Bishop J. Phillip Betts as part of his vision to reach the world for Jesus Christ.

Cornerstone North Raleigh is working to change lives with the gospel.

Services were held initially on Tuesday nights at the Comfort Suites Hotel in North Raleigh, North Carolina. Services were intentionally designed to be nontraditional; consisting of a time of intercessory prayer, praise and worship, bible teaching, and small group discussions. The ministry also conducted evangelistic outreach activities and provided counseling to those in need of spiritual, emotional and physical healing.

In January, 2014 the ministry became a branch church of Cornerstone Christian Community Church of Oxford, NC and the name was changed to Cornerstone North Raleigh Christian Church. CNR began holding services on Sunday mornings at the home of current Pastors Ben and Barbara Ramsey. In April of the same year, CNRC moved into its current location at 3209 Gresham Lake Road, Suite 122, Raleigh, NC 27615. Services are now held on Sundays at 10:00 am and Tuesday nights at 7:00 pm.
